For the past few years I have known many people but yet I don't know many people (oxymoron!). What lies in my network base is a whole list of people whom I only know superficially, and it is the desire of growing these relationships into deep meaningful ones that inspired me to set up this blog.
In 2009, I decided to have a new resolution which is to help anyone I know of with a small little favour twice a year (note that this favour doesn't include birthdays! Meaning you still get your birthday present ;D). I have been a good taker, but I do not know how to give.
My intention for this is very clear, I'm learning how to give back to community so please don't feel guilty in asking for any favour for I'm more than willing to help! :)
The System
Below you'll see two tagboards:
One tagboard will be used for pinging and only pinging (listing the favour that you wish to be fulfilled) whereas the other tagboard will be used for chit chatting ;)
Please ping in this format (in the message part): Favour, Contact Details (email and number), Hopes/Dreams/Aspirations
I'll then schedule the favour to a date whereby I can most efficiently carry it out for you ;D
What kind of favours?
I do not do favours that has to do with the taking away of any lives be it humans or animals, sexual indecency or other infringement of law. I have allocated aside $50 a month budget for fulfilling favours so ping while the budget lasts!
What if I feel obligated to return something?
LOL. I know that kind of guilt feeling because I have asked for favours from other people before. If you feel obligated, please don't ping! It is in my very intention that I give without asking for something return.
If you really really have a fetish for feeling the need to be obligated to return something then we can meet up some day over a meal and you can share with me your dreams and goals for the future ya? I'll see if I got anyone in my contacts that can help you :)
