*Update!*
Adeline is damn adorable HAHAHAHA
PRC BLOG LOL.

Mind over body; body over mind.
The tingling voice of pessimism tells me to give up yet my body kept resisting the persuasion like a rebellious dog, its legs pumping hard on the cement force and the Law of Physics dictate that for every force there is a reaction force; the shock on my knees in every step I take. Lungs expanding to maximum capacity, the respiratory system operating at utmost efficiency pumping oxygen into the body to respire the 3 servings of potato into the body's usable energy, adenosine triphosphate.
The UV rays pound mercilessly on my meek body. 5.15 pm. 1, 2, 3, 4. Steps in rhythm, the natural gait cycle carried out continously like a looped choreography that never ends. 5.2km.
Welcome, to the road run.
After a what seemed to be eternity struggle for victory between the pessimistic voice and the positive thoughts, positive thinking clearly emerged as a winner.
Keep going. You're fresh. This is nothing. You can do better than this.
The last 100m was a sweet glorious moment. The inundating cheers of the crowd. Oh my. What a perfect human ochestra, what a soothing sound produced! I opened my arms to embraced the most sublime moment in the life of a racer, exhausting my last burst of energy, sprinting wildly to the finishing line!
Glory flooded. People were stunned, including me.
19 minutes (not the exact timing) for 5.2km!
Record broken!
Now there was something about honour and glory that I learnt. Success brings pride. And sometimes it is this pride that grows into arrogance and subsequently leads to failure. So now with all humility I will express my thanks to the following:
God, for being there to hear my plea when I needed to persevere.
Isaac, for being a great competitor
Kenneth, for trying his best despite his ankle injury
Zai You, for his words of encouragement (and his crapping :P)
Wei Cheng, for his imba long legs and for always carrying me on his shoulders lol (yes I know no link)
Janan, for his advice on where to get the cheapest Strepsils and his concern at the end of the race (vommitted, drank too much gassy H2O)
En Quan, for him just being so sexy (and not to mention a damn zai bballer)
Kevin, for being so freaking fast!
1508 guys (Thaddeus, Wilson, Dinesh, Adi, Sam etc, sorry if I left your name out) for being a great fun bunch, love running the race with you all!
4 darlings (Jamie Low, Jana Lim, Joy Lai, Elizabeth Poh (you do realise the first 3 names start with initials J and L right hahaha)) for cheering me on and being great companies at Thai Pan.
Gamma House Commitee (Victor, Hong Yi (you put in great effort for this I know), Ashley, Cheryl etc, sorry if I left your name out) for cheering me on and planning this great event.

1408 for having faith in me and encouraging me. (not to forget those great basketball sessions! And 1408 outings! Hahaha)
Guo Rong, for your words that was stuck in my head during the race. It may seem like a passing remark but it was important to me ;)
